"Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me with the sound of a mighty trumpet blast. The voice said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things."
These are the beginnings of our brother John's Throne Room experience.
I was curious about a lot of what he had to say, so I began to do some background on the original Greek words used and to explore their fuller meaning. I submit this work to you for your consumption:
Then as I looked... I was wondering what 'looked' was all about, considering I don't get the impression that John just happened to notice, or casually saw. I believe that it is a participative action on our behalf to be actively seeking the things of God, and not just with our spiritual eyes, but also with our earthly eyes.

The deal with these words is that with the exception of 'door' they are all verbs. Action words - where we are active in seeking what God has for us individually as well as corporately and He is active in opening our eyes to see the doors, to invite us up, to draw us in and to reveal His plans.
Look around - where's your door?
